For founders and commercial leaders in B2B

Build a sales organisation that growswithout depending entirely on you.

You have built a good company. Customers are satisfied, they come back, and new customers arrive through your network and your reputation. Sales may never really have been built as a system. It did not have to be.

That works, until your company grows beyond what your network, your reputation and your own attention can carry. Then it turns out you do not know exactly where the next revenue will come from. I help you understand that success and repeat it, so growth depends less on chance, on that one top performer, and on you.

I have worked in B2B sales for 27 years: first as a salesperson, then as a manager, consultant and coach. Since 2006 I have been building the infrastructure behind sales performance: sales departments, onboarding programmes, academies, sales rhythms and leadership programmes, in the Netherlands and six European markets.

Core programmes

Grip in four building blocks

Deployable separately where it hurts most, but they interlock. Sales Rhythm & Steering is the vehicle: the weekly rhythm through which strategy, way of selling and coaching run. The other three build on it.

Sales Onboarding & Ramp-up

Stop onboarding every new salesperson from scratch.

Onboarding often depends on who happens to have time, so everyone learns it slightly differently and it takes too long before someone sells independently. We build one clear path from day one to selling independently, which keeps running without you having to drag it along.

What we work on

  • The onboarding programme per phase, with expectations and practice moments
  • A fixed buddy or coach in the first period
  • Measurable progress: time to first deal and full productivity

What you walk away with

An onboarding programme your team keeps running itself, with shorter ramp-up time and less turnover in the first year.

Duration: 1 week to 6 months

Sales Rhythm & Steering

Stop managing sales through last-minute surprises.

Sales management is often reactive: from forecast to a deal about to slip to a 1-on-1 you had wanted to prepare. We build a consistent weekly rhythm that gives you visibility into the pipeline, develops your salespeople and shows you problems before they affect revenue.

What we work on

  • Structured pipeline and forecast reviews
  • Effective manager and salesperson 1-on-1s
  • Clear indicators and accountability
  • Coaching routines embedded in everyday work
  • A fixed contact rhythm for existing customers

What you walk away with

A repeatable sales management rhythm your team keeps using independently. You see it coming before the monthly report, and if it disappoints anyway, you know which lever to pull.

Duration: 2 to 6 months, up to 12

Coaching & Training with Impact

Training that is still visible three weeks later.

Everyone enthusiastic on training day, and then little changes. We know that one. So we almost always combine training with practice, feedback and coaching on the job, and we start from the end result: backward design.

What we work on

  • The skills your strategy requires, from discovery to negotiation to account growth
  • Peer coaching in small groups
  • One transferable way of selling, from new customer to existing customer

What you walk away with

Behaviour that demonstrably changes and sticks, measured in practice, not just on the day itself.

Duration: from a single workshop to a long-term programme

Management Coaching & Sparring

Someone beside you who has seen this before.

As a leader you sometimes sit with a question you would rather not burden your team with, and internally there is not always someone who thinks along independently. A course is too blunt for that. A fixed sparring partner is not.

What we work on

  • Acute issues, available at short notice
  • Strategic choices
  • Transfer of experience
  • A regular rhythm that keeps you accountable to your own commitments

What you walk away with

Sharper decisions, and plans that actually get executed.

Duration: from one conversation to an ongoing sparring relationship

Approach

How we work together

  1. 1

    Discover

We start with what already works. Which customers, which people and which way of working bring the success today?

  2. 2

    Design

We agree which rhythm, which priorities and which development plan belong with that.

  3. 3

    Develop

Managers and teams are coached while the approach starts running in practice.

  4. 4

    Embed

Ownership moves to your team, so it keeps working after we are gone.

About Siemon van Dam

A builder of structure that lasts

I have worked 27 years in B2B, in almost every role there is: salesperson, sales manager, business consultant, and for the past 5.5 years as revenue enablement expert at Trusted Shops SE.

There I coached and trained new business, account management and customer success, as the only one in the department responsible for the full commercial cycle. In six markets, with as many languages and cultures.

I am the troubleshooter who comes in on a tough sales problem, and afterwards the sparring partner for management. I build teams, academies and onboarding programmes where little existed before.

My way of working does not start with a model from outside. I first look at what already goes well inside your company: who runs strong conversations, which proposals convert, which manager holds good 1-on-1s. We make that explicit and transferable. Only then do we compare with what is known externally. Internal evidence first, external evidence after.

I also know what it is like on the other side. At DTG I started as an underperformer, became average, and ended as a high performer. Then I co-built the online sales department. Win or learn, I always say: I never lose, I either win or I learn. It is the mindset I now foster in teams.

I work with a fixed network of partners and specialists, so you always keep one point of contact for the full professionalisation, from strategy to rhythm to coaching.

“Let me start by saying this isn't written by AI, what he has brought to the table deserves my real, unfiltered words. What I really appreciate is his way of 'connecting the wagons': he has a knack for aligning people and workstreams so nothing happens in isolation.”
Duda Breseeg, Team Lead Revenue Enablement, Trusted Shops
“What really sets Siemon apart is his ability to bridge strategy and execution.”
Justine Van Lierde, Enablement Manager, Trusted Shops
“Ik werk graag met de ondernemer Siemon samen omdat hij met deze kernkwaliteiten in staat is onze gezamenlijke klanten te ontzorgen en voorzien van oplossingen die ruim de klantvraag overtreffen.”

Frequently asked questions

Answers to what visitors usually want to know

What exactly is revenue enablement?
Many companies grow for years on quality, reputation and warm leads, without sales ever being built as a system. As long as that works, you notice nothing. Once growth flattens, it often turns out that nobody knows exactly where the next revenue will come from, that the best way of selling sits in a few heads, and that a revenue target has no translation into what the team should do differently on Monday. Revenue enablement is the work that solves that: understanding what already works, making it transferable, finding new sources of growth, and building a rhythm in which the team executes, learns and adjusts. Strategy, system and people in one hand.
Which companies does Inspire Growth work with?
B2B scale-ups and established SMEs in the Netherlands and Benelux, typically 20 to 100 employees and €3 to €20 million revenue, where sales results are erratic or growth leans too much on one or a few people.
Does Inspire Growth also work internationally?
Yes. I have built and coached commercial teams in six European markets and work in Dutch, English and German.
What does a programme cost?
That depends on the building block, team size, the complexity of the sales organisation and whether you choose to do it together or outsource it. Every programme is tailored; a concrete proposal follows after the conversation.
How long does a programme take?
That differs per building block. Sales onboarding runs from 1 week to 6 months. Sales rhythm and steering is usually set up in 2 to 6 months, with a possible extension to 12 months. Coaching and training ranges from a single workshop to a long-term programme, and management coaching from a single conversation on an acute issue to an ongoing sparring relationship.
